Yup, personally i've bought quite a lot of stuff from them, and it's been great, I don't normally venture up to my local-ish branch till they've got a sale on which would be a good time to go and buy your gear! Thumbs Up

Yep, they get a Thumbs Up from me too.

Got my current helmet & leathers from the branch in Greenwich and have no complaints. They carry a pretty good range of stuff.

Excellent - cheers guys!! Thumbs Up

I seen an advert in the motorcycle magazine that you pick up free in garages and they've got quite a few great deals on - two piece ladies leather suits £199 and you get a pair of matching boots and gloves for an extra £20!!!!

Cool - I can't wait to go now! Very Happy

Most of their stock is end of line or last seasons gear which to a fashion disaster like me is great Embarassed It is worth having a good dig around as there are some bargains hidden in the rails of clothing

Agree Thumbs Up

https://www.jsaccessories.co.uk/sitepages/specials.htm

There's an idea of some of the stuff they carry, they can be a bit limited on sizes though which can be a good and a bad thing. If you are small or large there can be real steals about.

Over the last few years I've had two pairs of Alpinestars boots from them and an Arai. Last pair of Alpinestars came unstiched down the zip, they swapped them out there and then. Told me to just go and get some more.

I've been buying bike clothing from my local J&S ever since I got a bike!

They often have very good deals on clothing, but remember not everything there is a bargain.

They usually have good deals, but remember fit is all important, unfortunately none of their cheap leathers fitted me when I last looked
Same for most places though Sad.

Also don't expect top notch quality from 'discount' non branded items. But then I wasn't impressed by the qaulity of my expensive branded Dianese either really.

Last time I was there, they only seemed to have 'great deals' on hideous bright yellow, white and orange leathers that surely nobody would be seen dead in.

Wasn't impressed really.

I would like to suggest that you have a look at the RIDE* magazine test on leathers! as it seems, the best leathers for £200 are Hein Gericke Tribal evo's!

I have a local(ish) J&S and it is Awesome! bought my helmet there! i say ish, as it is 30 miles away so not too close!!Is in newbury, and to look at the shop, it is quite deceiving, from the outside it is tiny, but when inside it is like 2 floors, and 4 rooms!

*I think it was RIDE but am not 100%(was the one with the free lock!)

Yes, they're pretty good. I visit their Watford branch for an occasional browse and if I need something in particular I will pay them a visit to see what's on offer. A wide range of popular helmets, clothing and boots always in stock. Their branded range is IXS if you have ever seen or heard of them - not bad stuff and reasonably priced! I bought a pair of £180 IXS leather trousers from there recently. Cool

They aren't the cheapest place around, and the deals they have on leathers for really good prices when I looked in there were just for ones in dodgy colour schemes and sizes. They do have a good range of different brands so is a useful place to go to try lots of different brands and sizes on, then when you've found the brand and size which fits you best you can get it from somewhere cheaper. Thumbs Up

I bought my summer gloves from J & S and they have been a great investment of £15. Hein Gericke had some leathers reduced the other day when I was in (on the hunt for a knee slider bargain).

I avoid J&S nowadays, got some Cordura gear off them a while back and not only was the crotch about as waterproof as a muslin bag, but the right leg decided to melt and stick to the end can of the bike as I got off. I'd expect some trouble if it had hit a downpipe or such, but end can? Given the reaction and 'company policy' spiel I got when I returned to the snop, never again.

Thanks for all the comments peeps - we went to J&S Accessories yesterday and spent a fair dod!! Silver 0wl got a new helmet, gloves and bike jacket (which is lovely I might add). And I got some lovely girlie biker boots (even if I do say so myself)

Then we went to Hein Gericke and spent even more money on a leather suit for me, which is just booooootiful!!! Will post pictures soon!! I'm over the moon!!! Thumbs Up
