I bought some cheap black leggings from Morrisons, just for lounging around the house in.

But I got home only to discover that they've still got the tag on, holding them all together. Mad

I thought I'd chucked the receipt so made a limited review of the bin liner I'd just thrown n the outside bin ... wasn't in there (although there's only so much garbage I will sift through for a £20 set of pants that I wouldn't even be seen dead in, walking to the shops for milk) Laughing

I was tempted to just cut the tag off and wear them with a hole in the leg, or as shorter ragged legs (capri pants for desert island shipwreck holidays) but when I got back indoors I found the receipt on the sink bench Rolling Eyes Brick Wall

My old B&Q cordless drill died this weekend Sad TBF an absolute trooper since it's lasted me ~10 years. Spotted the replacement here:

Einhell 18V PXC Cordless Brushless Combi Drill 2 x 2.0Ah (Toolstation)

A great deal @ £80 considering Screwfix are offering the 12V brushed motor version for the same money.

Died how? Probably just worn brushes or tired battery cells. Thinking

Buy another pair, and this time keep the receipt to take the original pair back...

This thread's still going?

I bought a cheese and onion toastie at lunchtime, and a mug of coffee.

Way posher than it sounds apparently, totally not worth £11.75

I bought a whole cake for £8 when they were previously £3.75 a slice (approx. 16 slices per cake) at Urchfont scarecrow trail today.

And yes, 100% on the answers as well.

Old age Smile I did try taking it apart but as is typical these days it's put together in such a way you'd destroy the shell getting the motor out Sad

I still have the battery packs and charger. They'll sit in the junk pile till I think up some project for them.

I'd rather go without.

You may be able to find an adapter for them to fit your new drill.

Usually me too - but I was hungry.

What the hey, only live once.

I feel I made up for it somewhat with what we paid for the two bikes we just bought.

What's in your collection these days? Still got the Black Man's Willy?

No, that went a few years ago...

I still have the '71 CB250 and the '77 XL250, both got kind of complete and both are re-project status again...

A neighbour gave me a boatan (or whatever, I don't care) 125 scooter a while ago - I got it running purely to see if I could but it's barely fit for being a parts donor as everything is completely worn out - I'm nicking a few electrical bits and bobs and may stick the plastics and a few other bits on marketplace if I can ever be bothered. Maybe the valve cores will be worth saving.

At the weekend I (well, my son) bought a Lexmoto hunter 50 (non running but complete apart from the airbox, it's running now but not quite right yet, the lack of airbox is probably not helping) and an '04 CG125 which has a bit of mot but needed a few bits sorting. I'll be putting the CG on the road for me until son is 17.

That's it at the mo, in all honesty I'm not sure I want a bigger bike myself again - at least not unless something properly special turns up.
