A vax carpet cleaner from Aldis weekly offers. My mum had one years ago and it did a good job, so got one because dogs and cream carpets aren't great bed-fellows.

Whilst I was at Aldi, I got some of their German Pilsner, 4 cans for £3. 4.5%, not tried it yet, but I shall sink a couple tonight.

Finally, on the way home I decided that we were having takeaway, so Taco Bell for three. I had an old receipt that the mrs had filled in the comments, so 20% off as well. Winnah.

Oh, and at the weekend, through Facebook Marketplace, I found someone selling Cards Against Humanity for a fiver. It looks like they've opened it, had a look and sold it on. I was looking to get it for Christmas, so job's a good 'un.

Cheap and cheerful go pro mount which clamps around a bar. £2.50

Purchased as it seems to be the only type of mount not included with my recently acquired Go pro.
And typically it's the type I wanted for mounting it on the rear of my bike. Oh well, no big expense.

We went for one of our special shopping trips to Waitrose earlier.
It's something we do on occasion because there are certain items we can't get elsewhere like tins of Cullen Skink.
Today they were on offer. Dance!
Got some dark chocolate coconut Lindt too. Wub

I spent £20 on wish last month and am now starting to get the bits through. So far I have a water bottle for running, zip up wrist band thing, a mini crossbow that shoots toothpicks and a tiny knife shaped like a leaf.

Just put a deposit on a new car. Collecting it later this month. The Swift was a cracker of a fun car but not
useful at all, especially with our big dog in tow. So we've been going everywhere in my van which is a bit
spartan comfort wise. No air con, crap radio, passenger seat is fixed and its noisy. Sad to see the Swift go, but we
just needed a bigger motor for the UK dog friendly countryside holidays we'll be taking for the foreseeable. The van
is flat out at 90 so 80mph long runs in it are are hard work, especially with roofbox. We've gone petrol again and
auto too for the first time ever. Shocked Has towbar with electrics so casually looking for cheap bike trailer now.

I thought I'd give the mice in my mate's garage a sporting chance.

I've never had a brand new bike jacket. Always bought used jackets and trousers.

The older 2.5T is less economical but it does hit 60 in 5.7s, not too shabby at all!

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Yeah i have an evolution saw too but its so noisy and messy that i thought this would be worth a punt for £150. Not turned up yet but i hear its pretty good for the money. This also has a much bigger depth at 127mm plus you can take it off the stand if you're feeling brave. I might also make a table for it to cut sheet.

My Evolution will do 80mm x 300mm - so not as square, but a good bit longer.

I've also been tempted by the Dewalt battery one - but that's got a pretty puny size of cut at 63mm.
