A hair dryer, I’ve not got a lot of hair and the girl behind the shop counter was looking at me a bit strange Laughing .
Then the penny dropped and she realised it was a present.

A cafetiere because I dropped the last one and the plastic handle broke off Crying or Very sad I tried to make my coffee with it, I could hold the glass bit with a teatowel. But then when the housing people came to put in a new kitchen, I had a bit of a blitz and decided to sling out old broken shite. Taken me this long (since July) to get round to buying a new one, only cheap and cheerful, but I have a lot of PACT to catch up with drinking.

Also: some coat hangers, 8 black and 10 rose-gold (latest trendy name for copper-coloured) = I really have got to get back to hanging my clothes up in the cupboards instead of on the radiator Rolling Eyes

/wilko

Hasn't Wilkinsons changed since it became "Wilko" instead. Much more nasty stuff, a lot less interesting.

Some glitter glue.
I didnt realise it was just a quick and easy way of applying glitter. I thought it had some special property and I couldnt understand why you would buy glue with glitter in it, if you were going to cover it over with ... well, ... other stuff.

So anyway, now I have :
In real life:
Some glitter glue
Some glitter in little dinky tubes
Three plain black frames
A glue gun

Online:
* two bike covers from Argos

Perfume set for the mrs, cheap aftershave for me.
2 kegs of booze (one is a secret santa gift).
A couple of big mac and fries (one for a mate, one for me).

A bottle of something for tonight, and £200 in repairs for the Mokka - the coolant pipe started shitting itself on Monday.

Not temporarily keeping any food out there for xmas are you? My shed becomes an overflow for the annual buying too
much food and drink event aka Jeebus's birthday. I do this primarily to keep my mrs from opening twenty things at once.
Mice have quite the sense of smell. I keep edible things in large biscuit tins or tupperware boxes if they are stored out there.
Bottles in a row just inside the door. Haven't lost anything to vermin yet.

We get the little feckers too over winter. They used to go for the dried dogfood until I put it all in a big plastic container.

I don't know if this is cruel, unethical or what, but could you lock a cat in the garage for a night? The cat from over the road used to come in to catch the mice, and one morning I opened up to find the little fella has been locked in. No harm done to the cat, and I didn't see any mice for a week or so.

Mice in garages with bikes isn't good because they nest in airboxes, seats etc...
