Just got back from the weekly shop in which I snuck a box of Taylors No 4 coffee bags.
They're good, they work, they make a very decent brew indeed.
Not sure if they'll be a regular thing though, £2 for a box of 10 bags.
It's still reasonable value for the quality but I think they're designed for situations where a cafetier might be inconvenient.

Waterproof head torch that runs off 18650s.
Current one isn't that waterproof and is falling to pieces - time for a new one.

IRL:
Gorgonzola
Baby beetroots
Mr Kipling Angel Slices
and one of those new McDonalds chicken burgers with "spicy" Indian sauce (not bad, actually, sorta mango chutney-ish)

Online: Opal hoop earrings and a boho tshirt.

I nearly bought a disk lock but the only one in my local Halfords (curiously understocked motorcycle section) looked WAY too heavy for my disk.

A bathstone fire surround for around my kitchen woodburner as part of the ongoing renovations at mine. £140 as an ex
display model. These things go for best part of a grand and I was looking to buy one at that sort money so I'm stoked to be
able to scratch one of the big purchases off of my list for well under what I budgeted. Good old ebay. Thumbs Up

Icon Helmet donut. £18

https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/EL4AAOSwDNdVsk1p/s-l400.jpg

I have five lids and many visors. Used to sit a lid on a big cushion to work on it. Seems a good addition to go in the
new mancave.

Rok Straps, because I've been carrying various things on the Renntech rack lately, secured by bungees, belt-and-buckle or a cargo net, and I wondered if there's a quicker way to secure them. I haven't tried them yet.

I live alone. If I don't fill this gap in the living room with a sofa then come winter I know fine well I'll do something silly such as bringing the bike in to keep warm..

Philips X-treme Ultinon gen2 LED H7 bulbs for the RC8. Every other bulb on the thing is LED so why not!?

I might make a thread for it.

I fitted some LED bulbs into the projectors on my car. Clean cut off, and as bright as the Osram Night breaker halogens they replaced.
Additionally I don't seem to be so dazzled by oncoming LED's at night, maybe because my eyes are used to the white light my own car is putting out and being reflected back at me....
Anyway, lining them up inside the housing was crucial for decent light output (led's pointing left and right, not up and down in the projector) which was an absolute f'in pig of a job due to restricted access and not wanting to remove wheels and wheel wells. One trick was to work out the correct alignment of the twist in holder, and then permanently fix that to the bulb with JB weld so that when it went in, the bulb couldn't rotate out of alignment.
The Phillips bulbs are much posher than the £35 jobs I bought, and probably won't have the same issues ( do they have grub screws on the adapters?)
