I bought a new toy for the workshop, one that hopefully should not need rebuilding for a change.

A tent and I’ve not camped for 32 years.

Just fancied spending time outside.

Nice. I do love a good clamp meter, especially ones that do both AC & DC. Many don't do DC.

You can never have enough meters. Thumbs Up

New logbook for Mille Sad £30 for the privilege when all is said and done (£28 for a £25 postal order, plus the cost of postage). Hopefully I get it back before the summer is over, I'd quite like to commute on the quiet roads on the bike.

Pair of Dickies Quebec boots to replace my destroyed Spada Curve Evo motorbike boots.

Got them delivered for £53

Wanted to return to boots that are less motorbike oriented, but still have the side zip to enable speed/ease of getting on/off.

They aren't advertised as waterproof, but got caught in a 30min downpoor at the weekend. Everything from neck to shins was soaked.....except my feet were bone dry. Might be because of honey + linseed used to help with break-in, but either way, happy so far!

I like that angled clamp. It should make it easier to slip under tight wires compared to the spring type that the Artist bought.

Maggots of foreign origin.

Bought underfloor heated foil mats, foam insulated underlay and timeswitch for living/dining area.

Can't lay it yet though until the plaster has gone on the walls and ceiling, and the engineered wood floor has been delivered.

Yeah I went for the cheapest non-crappy looking clamp that did DC current measurement.

What I really wanted was a clamp meter with no display that you connect to your normal multimeter. The clamp part converts the current to a voltage which you then read off your MM. I had one years ago with work but they were £200.

New mole grips. Mine were the sort of crap you get in a tool set and the jaws are all worn out and dinged.

Wifie has gone to the petshop this morning to get proper feeding dishes as he/she upturned the tin lid and sent the crushed up dog food everywhere. Laughing

A fuck ton of this
https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/xN0AAOSwgGZb~myO/s-l1600.jpg

And one of these
https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/NDIAAOSwn6Jb5ASv/s-l1600.jpg

But I am undecided about one of these

The UK shop are dick holes, and where the aftermarket fairings used to be nylon, they are now all cheaper abs.
A painted kit costs about 300 and it is really just the front of mine that looks like shit. I should get a couple of these and get painted properly.
