Just spunked another £360 quid on histo staining for Dennis the tripod cat to define whether the lump in her throat is nasty cancer or super-nasty cancer ... when I know that either way she's not gonna last long.

I am just going to suck it and see until she goes all "Darth Vader" on me again, or until she starts suffering and then I'll have to do the deed. I'll just be extra nice to her until then - even if she does spit and bite me most of the time already, the stroppy mare. Might even let her have the smoked haddock in the freezer that I was saving for some random herbert that never panned out.

I had a little cry with her this afternoon but even after the histo result comes back, I'm just gonna take it a week at a time not least of all because I can't afford the emotional input. Sounds harsh - but that's how I deal with this kind of shit : shut down and be on autopilot.

Compassionate but emotionless.
Huh. Whatevs. Rolling Eyes

Sub 250g Mavic Mini 2 SE drone.
Obsolete but still supported by OEM.

My other drone can't be flown in most built up areas due to its weight category and Flyer ID level.
A Sub-250g has minimal Civil Aiviation Authority restrictions.
(MyOperator ID covers more than one device.)

The later mini has a Google map pan function . That allows panoramic image uploading to Google with less phapheristics. (If one is into that s4it)

The Mini 2 SE is still for sale on DJI's website.

Is the Mavic Mini 2 SE a different drone?

Nope...they're silver.

Mac mini M2 Pro 32gb RAM 1 TB SSD plus Studio Display.

Mac OS is odd but this mApple Silicon is very nippy. Editing 4k video without the need for proxies.

Still odd that Cut n Paste isn't on the right click Laughing

Nuphy Air 75v2 mechanical keyboard and MX3 mouse to finish it all off.

Obviously can't find any AAA games so the old PC will be left under the table until I decide to go Xbox or PS5 sometime next year.

I am and it is.

Won't be letting my friend 'have a go' as that ended up with the OG mini in the sea.

I posted that from my smartphone. Its a bellend when it comes to spelling.

It's officially a DJI Mini 2 SE.

I knew that dji were still selling them.

I meant they are superseded by the Mini 3 and Mini 4.

I didn't study the spec for the others.
I just wanted the cheapest DJI.

My Mavic 2 is too heavy for use in town etc. due to CAA rules.

I haven't even had the new drone up yet.
I'm in Saudi and don't want some jobs worth who knows to look at flight logs.
I don't have a permit to fly in KSA. I have for the UK.
The permit to fly in KSA is available. I did research that.
But where I'm located may have company restrictions too.

Helicopter flying lesson

Booked for next year £550 in Cumbernauld. Looking to get myself a license eventually.

Need to lose 25 kg of bodyweight before February 2025. Shocked

Well being of Scottish ancestry, you would lose most of that 25kg by going in for gender reassignment. Cool

I've seen trainees in R22s at Cumbernauld.

You'll spend 20 grand, then find out that flying for pleasure in the UK is a bit shit.

Couple of months worth of wrangling with the tripod cat from hell to get cyclophosphamide down her gullet without having my hand shredded.

And some other chemo injection once a week for the next 8 weeks.

Three Cs and change for starters Rolling Eyes
More to come next week following the next injection, kerching goes the vet's cash register.

Not complaining about the cost, I can afford it, I'd only blow it on bikes.

Just hoping I can get these down the cat's throat and that they have the right effect: couple more years of having her snarl at me* if I'm lucky.

Am learning how to do the "hold her jaw" thing, lots of fun. She wasn't a fan and I was only putting some crushed prednisolone in catfood flavoured jelly via a syringe in her mouth.

Might have to invest in some Primula cheese spread to smear on the cyclophosphamide when I drop them in her gaping maw, cos I aren't allowed to crush 'em. She likes a bit of cheese, does Dennis.

Happy days.

*and to sleep peacefully on top of me at night whenever when I sleep on my side Wub it will be worth all the aggro to keep having that Wub
