Real Life: Hyundai i20 to replace Mrs Borg's mummy bus that's just had an epic MOT fail.

Online: Since I was splurging anyway, I've indulging myself with bunch of airsoft gear for my latest midlife crisis. Budget CYMA CM.516 M4 and CM.124 1911, and two toned for VCRA purposes, but all of that can be addressed.

So many how-to videos, so much to upgrade until they break. Drooling

They're even more budget than mine - I tried a less-budget one at this year's BBQ and was impressed how much better it was.

Oh, what do you have, and what were you trying?

I'm doing CQB with semi-auto only, at least initially, so it's not going to matter that much. I'll leave larking about in the woods to the Ewoks.

£75 for the M4 (with a basic NiMh and charger) comes in at under half the cost of a G&G Raider once you've added power to it. I could literally throw it away / strip it for parts / stubby it / full on Bolt Pistol it, and buy another if it breaks.

Likewise the CM.123 comes in at £60 delivered. The internals are a straight clone of the £130 Tokyo Marui G18C (even though it's externally a 1911), so all the parts for the TM can be fitted. £70 spunked at Eagle6 will upgrade most of the internals and should produce something closer to 0.8J than 0.4.

It's more about the journey than the destination, right?

Took delivery of some Givi V35NT.

The Kappa panniers were ever so slightly small, so the 2L made all the difference.

The last thing that I bought was 2 litres of Cherry Pepsi Max and a Feddo. Embarassed

But, earlier in the day I bought GTA V for Xbox One, and also Rare Replay 30 hit games. Some of the games on there, I played back in the day when Ultimate were in their heyday. I did have most of them again in the noughties, but sold my collection some years ago.

Great game. Get comfortable as you'll put some proper hours in on it. There's so much more content in the online
game than story mode. Even if like me you end up playing online and solo. It's more enjoyable playing as 'you'
and you get a better sense of acquisition as you go through the game getting wealthier and more stuff.
There are many more vehicles and types of vehicles available in online too. You start to become very tight about
what you spend in game when playing online. EVERYTHING is more expensive than in story mode and you have to
pay for more or less everything, from snacks to boost health, body armour (a constant expense) and of course ammo too.

Whatever your preference, join the Rockstar social club as it will enable you to communicate with other players
in more ways, start and join crews and most importantly keep track of those stats.

Level 333 online character here, no cheating. Cool Half way to 666 then Laughing

Currently my time spent in GTA Online is - 36d 19h 25m 52s Embarassed

Got $250,000 dollars already, and a skid row garage in Blaine County Very Happy

Verified my Social Club account, looks like I'm still in a crew, even though I haven't played for an age.

Playing through the main story again and I forgot how badly it was done actually. The multi-character stuff doesn't work that well, and the missions are too linear. Probably my least favourite GTA along with the previous San Andreas (must be something about that city Very Happy).

I wish they'd work on the next one, preferably in London, but with GTA online it'll probably be a while. Also I doubt they'd risk leaving the US (they'll probably do Vice City next).

They stopped transfer of characters in March this year, I guess they are winding down support for last gen console version.
You can't give money away anymore either, which is a shame as a pal just started playing and I have about
12m GTA$ in the bank at the mo and would have given him a nice 7 figure bung to get himself started.
More here.

My favourites in order are

GTA V

GTA San Andreas
GTA Vice City
GTA III

GTA London
GTA II

GTA I

GTA IV <<< I hate it, it sucks, the fun police turned up and took out everything that I like!

Vice City had some very nice features, but the open world of San Andreas and V I preferred.

Transmits or receives Bluetooth signal, meaning you can use any wired earphones/headphones/speakers to receive as Bluetooth instead of plugging them in or plug it into a non Bluetooth device like a tv/radio/hifi and transmit to Bluetooth earphones/headphones/speakers.

I’ll be using it to get music from my phone to the speakers in my helmet so I don’t have a cable dangling around anymore, and probably also to get audio from the tv to my Bluetooth headphones.

I'm still into this game, utilising the bunker to make money whilst playing double rp and $ modes. Having the smugglers run content is ok but bought in fort zancudo to get access and easily able to nab laser jets for missions. Combined with the buzzard that's pretty much all you need. Making serious $$$ is hard.
