Yeah, I'm hoping that this time around I don't injure myself again! I know I have knee problems now but I have joined a beginning running club again so we will be doing interval training to start with (1 minute run, 1 minute fast walk, repeat etc).
I'm looking forward to the first session ____________________ Theory test - 19/8/09, CBT - 11/10/09, MOD 1 - 16/8/10, MOD 2 - 27/10/10

Games with Gold sale on, you say?
Go on then....
Lara Croft and The Temple of Osiris for about £2
Me and the mrs play the original one on the 360, and it is good, hard puzzling fun. This is harder than the other one, but looks better.
Cuphead £14
Beautiful looking game that comes across like a 1930's cartoon. Puzzle/action/platformer thing. Awesome soundtrack and insanely hard.
Fifa 18
I bought this just for The Journey, after completing the first part on Fifa 17. I don't think that the gameplay or graphics have really moved on, but it isn't a bad game, but it did reinforce the reason why i don't buy FIFA games brand new.
Oh, and a 2003 Corsa. I've had some real issues getting to work over the Christmas and New Year periods, so I've bought myself an early birthday present. A 2003 5 door Corsa. Nothing fancy and just for a backup, but I do like it ____________________ thx1138 wrote: Well if you had a car, I'd bet it would smell like urine had had drunken sex with vomit and made a poo baby.

A spot in a storage facility for the 911 whilst we have some work done on the house (garage needs to be clear as will probably have to let builders enter via the back door ).
Catalogued and photographed on entry, dehumidified secure facility, regularly exercised around the yard, parked on carpet, drip trays, batter tenders, car covers, the lot.
It's like sending your pet away on a luxury retreat to a posh kennels |

Three "herb" grinders.
Cos I wanted to see if they grind ACTUAL herbs, basil, thyme or sage, etc., and I still haven't got round to getting another one of those nice marble pestle and mortars. My kitchen spice rack looks very questionable, full of odd jars of this and that. If the police had cause to raid my house (which they haven't) they'd probably look at my spice rack with grave suspicion, but in fact its mostly big jars of sage, rosemary, bay leaves (no, really) and other assorted mad-looking herbs given to me by various people.
My ex gave me a massive bag of mixed, well, junk, really: bits of herbs he's collected, onion skins, juniper berries, orange peels, dried out garlic cloves*, chillies, etc, all dried out in a massive tray he has in his kitchen, he calls it his "pork rub" (no tittering at the back!) which he sprinkles over roasting meat and veg.
(he's Italian, he has an excuse)
So now I've had it for a year and hardly done anything with it cos it looks all like bits of sticks and paper husks etc., so as they have dried out even more in my kitchen, I thought I might grind them properly fine, maybe mix it with (for example) freshly grated parmesan, and start coating everything in it
*not that garlic has much of an opportunity to dry out in his place, he uses it all the time, whereas since no longer living with him, I use a lot less than I did, and am lazy now and have moved on to "lazy" garlic granules, paste etc. ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |

I’ve finally had to give in and pay for/buy a shed load of dental treatment , deposit paid.
Three missing teeth (need to look at replacing), three large fillings and a broken tooth to be removed .
Gonna cost a few bob once it’s all done ____________________ I am the sum total of my own existence, what went before makes me who I am now! |
