Amazon do piss me off the way they do that - ie, advertising the product at the headline rate of £0.77, and then sneaking in the 'express delivery' small print, the amount of which they don't even tell you till you've put the bloody thing in your basket. Why can't they just be upfront and put "April 6-16" as the delivery time? Because nobody in this world is ever going to stump up £26 for one of these (you can buy one from the UK on next-day delivery for £3.21) so Amazon are being totally disingenuous to quote a 3-4-day delivery time at all.

That said, for 77p I'll wait... Wink

[amongst other things]

A small bottle of Tesco Finest Marlborough Pinot Noir.

I very occasionally buy those little bottles, to taste different brands, but I don't have a great wine-drinking habit, so its an unusual purchase for me.

But I decided to have beef and red wine ravioli for my tea (which was very nice, with carbonara sauce) and weirdly the sudden idea that half a glass of red wine would go nicely with it, popped into my head.

I very rarely drink wine at home on my own, if the big guy is home we might share a bigger bottle, although I tend to go off drinking it once I've finished eating ... but for some odd reason, I just really fancied a mouthful or two of red wine.

So I've had three or four mouthfuls and I've finished my tea now, so I've lost interest in it.

There's still two mouthfuls in the glass, and half a glass still in the dinky little bottle. I'll probably use it in a pasta sauce at some point in the future.

But there's also a tub of plum, honey and ginger ice cream that needs testing as well ... Shifty

And I bought a bag of frozen cherries ... omg what am I going to do with those? I feel a Witches of Eastwick moment coming on Laughing

A pair of cheap walkie talkies for my sisters kids.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2pcs-Toy-Walkie-Talkie-Set-Kids-Children-8CH-PMR-Two-Way-Radio-Intercom-MAX-5KM/253421686072?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649

Got them for 12 quid Thumbs Up , cheaper than the star wars ones I nearly bought in Tesco which had 100m range.
I'm heading down to visit family over Easter and I don't like to show up empty handed.

A long overdue addition to the toolkit -- that is after last time I rebuilt the calipers I ended up having to travel many miles only for them to use the same tool (perhaps a different brand).

I didn't want to pay one hundred squid for the Laser toolkit and didn't trust eBay: not only because private sellers but also because lack of review function. Amazon had one at a decent price that seems well reviewed so see what quality is like upon arrival.

Couple of pistons are being reluctant to move as easy as their counterparts so going to wind them out, clean with brake cleaner and apply a small coat of red rubber grease (saves me having to rebuild the caliper, for now: see what happens thereafter).
