Pint of Stella. Sunny day, pub or two on my dog walk, who can blame me? Beats working for a living. Bit of
a late lunch then off to Weston on the bike for another one. Thumbs Up

Just bought a very clean looking (compared to mine) used filter from the bay. £12.

I saw some on ebay and wondered if anyone bought used service bits Smile A new one from fowlers was £22, which hurt a little but they (apparently) are good for 12k.

Well I just thought it looked clean enough to take a chance on.

Can't decide if I have a bad cold or hayfever, so I went to Boots:

Ibuprofen
Lemsip
Loratidine
Allergy Eye drops
Cherry throat lozenges

And a lipstick to cheer myself up.

Bottle of Pimms and litre of lemonade, for the Mrs.
She can't drink it on her own, so helped out.
That, some Cuba Libre and some Jack and coke later, I have a hangover.
So, bottle of fanta and some ibuprofen.

Something I've always wanted. A petrol chain saw. Spent the day cutting up the trees I've taken out of the garden into small bits so they'd fit in the car.

£116 for the saw and about £10 in fuel for the saw and car for the tip runs Vs the £200 I was quoted to remove the lot.

Quids in and I have a chain saw at the end of it.

More new gloves. Weise Vortex. Absolute bargain. I have two pairs of the Weise Daytona which is the same glove pretty much
but short cuff and they have been absolutely superb. Loads of feel, just like a second skin, kangaroo palms Thumbs Up
a soft gel pad behind knuckle armour, external stitching. Bought these Vortex gloves for those days when I don't want
a draught up my sleeves. Laughing I paid more for my first pair of Daytona so I'm well happy with the price.
Absolutely zero insulation or waterproofing, but that's not an issue for 90% of my time in the saddle. Plus the spacker
has heated grips anyway.

Bag the wood in rubble sacks and sell it. Lots of people with wood burners nowadays.
