printer ink Sad

had a great laser printer once, really good one, but it stopped working once Windows 7 came out, no patches released, nothing 3rd party worked, ditched it in the end, and I couldn't afford another one of the same quality

Bet you a quick Linux print server would have sorted that. About 10 minutes and it runs low-key on your Windows machine Thumbs Up

I was lucky enough to get mine from a bloke at work with more money than sense. He'd sold his ps4 and had no need for it so he let me have it for a tenner. I know.
He'd broken the paddles underneath but they're easily and cheaply replaceable, I already have them on order.
You can feel the quality though, everything feels more responsive than the Sony pad and the body of it is more chunky and nicer to hold.
I particularly like the adjustable 'hair' trigger and externally removable joysticks.

Would I pay full price? Hard to say. Maybe if gaming was all i could think about, morning, noon and night.

New shoes!

The trails are not ideal, too much drop and restrictive toe box, but the boost foam and grip is great for the rocky downhill trails I do.

Backstory; A lovely chap called Simon from Bristol (plays Bass in a functions band) sold me this travel guitar. He's been camping in Edale and called by to complete the sale. Top bloke. Thumbs Up

After my Gretsch killed itself I've been on the lookout, then this little GSmini popped-up at a good price (GS for Grand Symphony). Weird markings on the body but it's just the grain.

Plays well and not boxy sounding like my old Gretsch or my friends Baby Martin guitar. Added bonus.... It's got a preamp with mic+piezo pickup system. Proper good gig bag t'boot.

Another cctv camera to cover the last blind spot of the house perimeter.

Some RAF surplus goretex blue pants, to go under the seat just in case, as I'm fairly certain it's really gonna piss down very soon and I'll just be in biker jeans.

Crying or Very sad first run in new shoes and what happens!?!? shortcut on the grass and trod in a well hidden shit Mad it wont come off! Next dog I see is getting a kick. Yes the spots are part of the design.

As a quick review - these have no heel cushioning, as expected. Forces an ideal forefoot strike and higher cadence, where as I usually heel strike at ~154spm these have got me into 170's. I did 13km and the second half was difficult, over using the outer calf where as I'd often get deep calf/hamstring fatigue a few km later on. This is not the shoe to buy when you are awaiting MRI results for lower leg and plantar fascia pain. However if I can adapt to them with short runs, should help me avoid future injury and get me a lot quicker.
