Meh,, in the morning my bum hole will give the burger its final score. I mean, it wasn't eye wateringly hot but it was very good.

I didn't add any ghost chilli flakes to it but those melt your mouth before setting fire to your head. Laughing

And I've no idea how it compares to what they'd normally serve when they're not challenged to make it really fucking hot. Laughing

Treated myself to a little week-late birthday clothes shopping binge.

I needed new jeans as my arse ends up getting the better of most pairs after 6 months, so two new pairs.

Bras tend to suffer the strain of my capacious bosom, and I regularly lose underwires, so I got a brace of those mofos, and knickers of course (a girl can never have too many knickers).

A nice white cotton shirt, embroidered, with button up cuffs, which I can double up as an overshirt
A pretty flowery top, black with red flowers
A white denim jacket (which will end up as a cut-off and no doubt get very dirty, booting about London in it, but it makes a change from the hot pink one) which will look super cool over the black flowery top.
... and some snakeskin-look ankle boots.

Stylish kat is stylish
Cool

Eyyyyy Laughing

Edit: oh! and a black linen sundress. I might not cut the sleeves off the denim jacket. Or ... I could go back and buy another one Idea Idea

Today was spent mostly stocking up on workshop tools/supplies ready for tackling the ducati. I bought:

Front and rear paddock stands
Optimate3 (need a charger, "save" feature may rescue the battery I've had laying around for a few years*)
Teng impact driver set (the type you whack with an hammer)
Allen key set (becuase all mine have fucked off of their own volition)
1/2 inch ratchet (my last one didn't stand up to the rigours of doubling up as a hammer)

*probably wont

Ah, they're making changes to their menu to increase the spiciness of their spicey offerings. Mr. Green Something about Carolina Reaper sauce

https://i.imgur.com/usEd5RK.png

And there will be other ingredients under the counter as well to add to the hotness.

This afternoon at the pub we met the guy who runs the place and the people who put some effort into trying to completely blow my head off. Laughing Next time I order I'm expecting it to be hotter because now they know that I really do want it to be mind blowingly spicy and that I'm not going to be complaining if the burger melts my fragile little taste buds. The challenge is on!! Laughing

Plus I got to talk to them about the idea of them running challenges / competitions involving stupidly spicy foods so this can only end well. Laughing

(My bum hole wasn't angry this morning.)

A front wheel lift arm for the abba stand.
Now I'll soon be able to whip the wheels off for tyre changes and chuck them in the boot of my car...oh wait. Doh!

A Viking 18" cut self propelled petrol lawn mower.

It's turned a 2 hour job into a 30 minute job.

Previously: 10 bags of ballast, and 65 bags of cemrnt.

Today: A new wheelbarrow, and a new shovel. I sort-of like the shovel, but I am not very keen on the wheelbarrow, which may have to be returned. I have not used either. They don't make things like they used to, even fairly recently.

I know what you mean. I recently bought a chainsaw to hack up some tree stumps. Two words: short work Smile

Have you purchased any protective equipment? Chaps at the least (ooh-er!), also boots and helmet with ear protection being next. A few views of (say) Stihl "how to do it" videos is also good.

Self propelled = press lever and it engages drive.

Flymo (made by Husqvarna) do a pretty good "roomba" for the lawn.

Happy days Thumbs Up diddy burrs that are so cheap I can throw them away at the end of a job, and some free tungsten carbide burrs from my pile of junk.
