Thanks for all the info, but it's just a small barrel pond tucked away at the back of my allotment, there are no fish in it.

I copied this.

We had an old ceramic sink in a garden that frogs loved. The issue with that was it regularly dried out. I just filled with the hose. Not the best water for wee tadpoles though.

there are no mains on my allotment, we have to hand pump from a well, so I'm hoping the water is a bit better

All you really need is areation of the water. A solar powered pump will do.

The price of the helmet has little to no bearing in relation to safety.

RRP £59.99 - 5 star SHARP rating
https://sharp.dft.gov.uk/helmets/duchinni-d832/

RRP £240.00 - 2 star SHARP rating
https://sharp.dft.gov.uk/helmets/arai-condor/

The biggest impact* is going to be the absorbency of the padding, not how much of your wallet can be absorbed.

I'm making a simple generalisation, but a huge non fashion (cheap) one size 'fits all' shell packed out with plenty of padding to fit the smaller head size, will reduce the G-force of a simple blunt impact much better than a multiple sized smaller shell with less padding.

Having said that, I wouldn't buy a helmet from wish.com

*pun intent to be decided.

There can be a direct effect on safety.

I had a cheap HJC helmet.

The lining swiftly disintegrated over a few months.
It was noisey and the visor was a fexker to lock.

Cheap helmet.

Shoei helmets have always outlasted the recommended lifespan.

^ quality is a different measure, there's plenty of other helmets that are just as subjectively good available for less cost.

It's all redundant if it ends up under an HGV wheel anyhow.

Another CCTV camera.

Hikvision finally released a reasonably priced camera with both ColorVu (wide lens giving colour picture at night) and Acusense (can specify trigger on human or vehicle).

Ordered up some more coffee beans, this time trying out 1kg of Brazil Fazenda Cachoeira da Grama Nautral Canario roasted whole beans from Hasbean off the back of a recommendation by BCF's very own MCN:

Zoia by Empress effects.

It'll do the standard array of audio effects and loads more.

Simply put, each button is a module that you link to another. Pretty amazing.

Yes.

I think I've sold the effects part of it a bit short. Empress do some of the best reverbs.

The synthesiser side of it plenty deep enough for some solid sounding Bass and Leads or indeed a 4 part Poly, so long as you know the basic signal flow otherwise it can be a steep learning curve. Shifty

The Denial of Death by Ernest Becker

It's about as cheery as the title suggest but I've resolved to resume my studies.

Hmmm. If you read that while playing a Leonard Cohen LP I'd suggest locking away the razorblades and consider swallowing the key before you become a statistic. Thumbs Up

The premise is that most of the evil in the world is down to misguided attempts to achieve immortality (looking at you, religion) instead accepting the inevitable and actually doing something with one's life.

New old keyboard for my main PC.

I have an affinity for AST. As one of the major computer companies for many years, no one seems to remember them anymore... Crying or Very sad

I think I will miss the windows key though. I use that quite a lot. However I won't miss the Menu key (between right windows key and Ctrl)
