Nope. Not even a gun cabinet - they ask that they be stored behind a locked door but that's about it. Your reason can be as simple as target shooting or vermin control. The certificate costs £72 for 5 years, you have to disclose any and all convictions including driving offences and you need a referee as well but other than that it's a doddle to get one. Smile

Oh and they don't care how many you own, acquire or sell - one certificate covers it all. Thumbs Up

I wonder if blasting rats down the bottom of my back garden would be acceptable or not. I could easily put some plywood sheets across the back fence so that there's a back-stop. I say rats but I really mean plinking Wink

I've always found it really weird that you can get a crossbow or compound bow that are way more powerful than a .22LR round (in terms of kinetic energy of the projectile) but you don't need any form of licensing to get them at all unlike the .22LR.

More CCTV cameras. Once installed I'll have a setup with 3 EUFY cameras, 2 battery powered 2k units with base
station storage and one mains powered unit with integrated 2500 lumen spot lamps, siren, 2 way talk which I already had
waiting to install along with a mains powered RING doorbell. All can be voice controlled by Alexa and viewed on any of my
Echo shows or my phone via Alexa app or EUFYs or RINGs own apps.

I spoke to someone who said the two greatest days when you buy a boat are the day you buy it and the day you sell it.

Silly it might sound, the lens I got is actually one of the more affordable ones, roughly £700. Some of the Leica and Zeiss stuff goes over £10K, even £20K per lens... and you idealy want different lenses for different occasions. Shocked

The one he wants is some weird looking long thin thing so very close pictures. Costs over a grand but nowhere near the likes of those £10k+ ones you mention.

A selection of Indian snacks from an Indian deli that's opened up near work. The BEST samosa I've had in my life. Big (good start), still warm from the fryer, crunchy corners and packed with flavoursome filling. I'm drooling again as I type this, even thought I'm absolutely stuffed with food.
