If your injury claim is valued at under £25,000 then your case goes onto the portal fast track system with fixed fees of £800. You can still get funding under a CFA (No win no fee) but as you have pointed out it tends ti be a conveyor belt system.
The £25K is based on the combined figure of General damages (injury element) as well as the Special damages (non injury element)
If your injuries are over the £25K barrier then it is multi track and fees are uncapped which means that the case can be investigated properly and external experts can used to help establish liability if required.
But without knowing the extent of your injuries, at this time it is impossible to determine a value. |
