Come late January I'll be getting a test ride on an 09, will let you know.

However on paper, everything says 09 over the slightly cheaper yet ancient parts bin alternative

Next step is to get some test rides booked. If I don't like any of those two.. I've put the vstrom 1000/650 in reserve....but do love the look of the gsr in white Thumbs Up

EFA.

Wouldn't go near a 4 cylinder 600/750 while they keep producing these Triples.

Paddy's probably thinking of that SV that he berates and yet can't seem to give up, like one of those politicians who rants about homersexuals and then gets caught balls deep in a rent boy.

Considering the history of his, a scarily apt analogy Neutral.

I had a go on an MT09 when my dad test rode one, really nice bike. Felt like my old KTM 640, punchy and light.

I want to chop the R1 in for a KTM 1290R but I've yet to test ride one, so will see in the spring.
