French idea of the future, by Yacouba Galle. The engine will be a liquid cooled 801cc in-line three cylinder, four stroke, making about 170hp and all that will weight approx. 155kg dry. The price tag is just as mental as the concept itself, 250,000eur. 50 motorcycles to be made during the next year.

That's more realistic than £35,000 for a Hesketh.

They're both selling pieces of art to collectors. High price might actually drive demand.

I think you're right, they will probably sell all 50 motorcycles, which at 250k Eur a piece is a lot of money. This does not seem like one of those projects where manufacturers deliberately lose their money in order to provide something special just to promote the company/brand.

To the best of my knowledge, they wont be able to sell them in Germany.

Back wheel isn't allowed to be the furthest back part of the bike.

Hence the little plastic thingy looping round behind the wheel on the BMW adventure bikes.

Not as motorcycles for road use. Perhaps as a "KIT of partes" though.

interesting, never knew that. Does that take into account the number plate that might protrude slightly beyond the back wheel? Just curious..

Honestly not sure but it's they explanation I was given by a German bloke when I asked what that little plastic bit on the BMWs was all about.

Looks repulsive from every angle apart from directly behind.

I'd rather 'shit in my hands and clap' than be forced out in public on that monstrosity.

When I first saw it I assumed it was an electric bike. If it was and was around the £3k mark and had a useful enough power output above 30bhp then I would think its a good looking effort.
