I was coming home through Shoreditch, London, Friday evening. Some one ran into the middle of the road, further up in front of the line I was taking and just stood there looking at me as I drove towards him. I was not sure what he intended, weather playing chicken or trying to get me to stop and steel my bike. It was a split second decision. I did not slow down, or change my direction. As I went past. I saw a load of blokes chasing after in my mirrors. Naturally I didn't stop.

Has any one had some do something similar?

Happens quite frequently in Manchester around the scummy areas (i.e. everything inside the M60 and everything outside the M60).

Chavs will jump out or kick you as you go past. NEVER stop if anything gun the gas to get away.

Quite a risk, with 250kg of bike coming at you.

I believe the appropriate action in the aforementioned instance is to drop it a gear, give it a serious twist of the wrist then ride that wheelie high and loud, whilst laughing manically and if they're still there blast them on your Stebel a few times for added measure.

I was actually thinking that when people kept saying gun the throttle.

Spin up the back wheel and crash then the chavs come and nick your bike and kick you while your down Sad

If you stop you're going to lose your bike and get beaten up anyway.

Better to kill, maim and cripple one of them than to let them get away scot free because we all know the police will prosecute YOU rather than them.

Not if you're a scrote with nothing to lose.

Best case scenario: free bike.
Worst case scenario: compo payments from injuries caused by biker.

Pfft just means they'll get a free bike camera as well.

Plus it is pointless suing chavs while they may lose. The settlement will be a penny a month for the next 2000 years.

Speak for yourself.

Had this happen the first time I took Lozzy out through London on night on a bike.
Sitting I think it was on Shaftsbury Ave and group of blokes crossing the road, one turns around and walks back towards us. Quickly turned and said to him 'don't even fĂșcking think about it' and he quickly turned 180 and left.

Except I will go for their house, their TV, their phone, their car everything. Rules are different in the civil court, unlikely they will get pleasant terms.

He was probably intimidated by your Faroese pronunciation, reckoned you were packing a harpoon.

I've only had one run in with drunken Scotches (apologies for the redundancy), while waiting at lights. Probably nothing would have come of it, but I wasn't waiting around to find out.
