Does anyone know of a repairer that could stitch a new zip into my one piece leathers? Ideally they would be in the Birmingham region as postage would be high, please do not suggest using a courier as my experience with one over the last month has been a nightmare!

Have you tried any dry cleaner type places that do alterations?

That says only minor alterations and they are primarily a cleaners but worth a punt I guess. Not sure what constitutes a minor alteration.

Hideout Leather have always sorted mine out after I've been chucked up the road in them. Possibly too far from you though.

I used hideout last year to take the race hump out of my one piece and put a normal piece of leather in.
Postage to get it there was 30 quid using parcel force next day with insurance, hideout paid the postage to send it back to me.

Could also try ringing a few shoe repairers up. Most will have long arm sewing machines to repair leather boots shoes bags etc....and most will sew zips for a cost per inch(regardless of what the item is). The machines are also designed for leather work, sew (see what I did there?) give them a call.

Yes, shoe oriented leather repair shops with seriously capable sewing machines might be your best bet.
