The quickest one is the one with the fastest rider on it.

Oh yeah, Mericans call them Ninjas so you probably shouldn't call them that. Razz

None of the above. ZXR400, restrict it.

ZX2R is not a commuter twin in a plastic dress it's an actual IL4. Good luck finding one.

GPX250 (ZZR250) would be my choice of the 250's you mention because they can be found cheap, not sure about parts availability and pricing though.

Once again........ restrict a ZXR400 it'll be better than any of the 250's and cost less than the EX or ZX2R.

No you're not.

The ZX2R is more expensive than a newish EX250, is 20 years old and revs to 20K, or thereabouts, so is no longer a viable tool for beginners. It has spent the last twenty years in the hands of teens and twenty somethings being revved to the moon cos "it sounds like an F1 car, innit?!" Parts will be hard and it will have received much abuse, although I would love one cos "it sounds like an F1 car, innit?!" Laughing

I would run with wr6133 suggestion of a ZXR400 if you wanted a cheap-ish Ninja. With regards to the GPX, I believe quite a few bits from other GPZ's and GPX's have the same part number, while trying to source spares for my GPZ, sometimes the 250 pops up with available parts.

Amazing... twenty five days out the traps, with the Christmas silly-season and bank-holidays in the middle, when DSA examiners are cancelling test appointments even where there isn't snow on the ground, and the kid's managed to get a Theory test and pass it; get a course booked, do it get a Mod 1 appointment and pass it; get a Mod 2 appointment, and pass it, AND found the money to buy out his 125 policy and forgo the years NCB he reckoned he needed to get a "Ninja'h!"

We're still in that 'fantacy' place, aren't we? I know its the season for miricles; like finding a parking space in Tamworth outside Toys-R-Us on Christmas eve, but an A2 in a week? You would have more luck convincing me that Pinky & Perky were towing Santa's sleigh this year, I think.

Interesting that you just said that. This is so very much his style that I was suspecting this to be his new trolling account Thinking

I think you're over-estimating BodyGuard, there. I don't think he has the intelligence nor will-power to create another account just to troll us some more with stories of fake licences and imaginary bi.... oh, wait. Shocked

who ever jivebunny was I`m not convinced Bodyguard is the same poster ... somewhere between the two names it became a sock account either hacked or more likely jivebunny lost interest and handed over the password.....
