One mirror misting up?

hey guys,

Riding home from Liverpool last night about 20 odd miles my mirror was fine then when i was around 2 miles from home my left mirror starting misting up as for my right was quite clear, this was at around 22:00 but i'm really confused, it didn't do it on any of Liverpool's duel carridge ways, town road or east lancs?
Any ideas what it could be? It's not a major issue only requires a wipe every minute or so.

Maybe a puddle splashed that side of the engine and was creating condensation or something?

You may have used a cloth that had something on it and now it mists.
Try giving them a wash with detergent.

Hmm, not sure it did blast the whole bike with WD-40 half way to Liverpool due to the rain the bike didn't like going past 30 without spluttering and fine for the rest of the journey and back. The puddle sounds like it maybe a problem. Will give it a clean anyway. Thanks

I had a similar problem with both mirrors, but only in certain weather conditions.

I fixed it by removing the mirrors from the housings, and stuffing the cavity with fibreglass insulation left-over from the loft!

It was strange as it was only 1 mirror for me, gunna clean it if the same happens will do you have with the insulation

Give the mirrors a quick wipe with vinegar, problem solved.
