Agreed but it does give Cansa the opportunity to become more inventive with his weapon of choice.

It never ceases to amaze me that they think like that.

If you walk out the door with just the clothes you stand up in, you may have nothing to your name and nowhere to go, but the next beating will be non-existent.

I'm just going to the shops, dear.

Bit of a thread revival, but the reason behind it is worthy.

If you watched Crimewatch on monday then you may have seen the CCTV footage of a bloke that was wanted in connection with rape that happened in Birkenhead last year.

About 25min in.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=633zK8TpToU

Turns out it's the bloke who I waved a ZXR400 fork at.
Popo came round this morning to arrest him on "suspicion"
He got charged for it this evening.

How do I know this?
Because I have chatted with the bird next door.
She said she was watching Crimewatch and phoned them.

I'm fucking well proper pissed off.
The only reason I ever watch Crimewatch is in case there's someone I know on it.

The one fucking time I miss it and BOOM!
Neighbour on it for being a rapist.

FML.

Yeah, kinda.
It was convenient for her to have him there to look after the kids while she was at work.
But he lived on the sofa.

Note for future salvation: a fork-leg is about as much use as a spoon after the first swing if the guy you've just swung it at has decided to have you. It's why the cops have truncheons instead of baseball bats. Mr. Green

Many years ago before I was married and lived on my own I had an acquaintance lodging with me. Nice enough chap, pretty girlfriend, seemed normal.

I came back home one morning from walking the dogs (2 German Shepherds) to find a plod wagon and 3 cars outside my property. Police asked me not to let the dogs out and it was explained my lodger was being arrested for a serious crime. They wouldn't say what.

Anyway, later in the local paper he was charged with rape, and not just ordinary rape (no offence ladies, I appreciate there is no such thing) but with multiple counts of raping OAPs. Shocked

To say I was gobsmacked would be the understatement. Just goes to show you never know people.

He wasn't on crimewatch though Laughing

I take it that he was arrested after the original incident when CaNsA intervened, would they not have taken his DNA at that time? He is very distinctive looking so why the need for the TV appeal, I doubt he was a stranger to the police.

What scum. Sadly rapists don't get much jail time these days, a lad round my old area Camberley got 7 years for 2 rapes and was let out in 2 years.

Update.

Turns out there is no evidence in the gash of any intercourse.
He says "We were walking, she went to be sick and told him to leave her alone so left her and walked off"

He's on remand until the 27th march when his trial will start.

Update.

He was in court today, offered a deal by the prosecution:-

They will drop the rape charge if he pleads guilty to sexual assault.
Based on the grounds that the tox report shows the bird was far too drunk to consent to even a kiss. - 5yrs inside

or

If he pleads Not Guilty to both charges (16yrs if found guilty of both).

He took the deal, been sent daaaaan for 5.

Great Justice. Thumbs Up

Bit of a muppet for copping a guilty plea to anything though if there were no forensics and it was just her word against his. But, he probably is a muppet.

No chance. He'll come out converted to the religion of peace and go snackbar on his missus. Mark my words.
