For me -
350LC Yamaha, TZ for the road, cast wheels, water cooled. Be your favourite racer of the day.

RG500 race bike, any variant, just so photogenic, looked 'right' from any angle. Buy one and if you were a decent rider finish in the top 10 of a GP.

Ducati 916, a real game changer. Slapped the jap muscle bikes with looks AND performance, inspired a generation.

Ducati 916. I remember the first time I saw one and I just kept staring at it. At the time, it was incredible and I instantly loved it even more than the original blade Foxeye in urban tiger colours which was also stunning. Nothing else existed at the time and I was blown away. Had one in black & silver eventually.

Loved the ZXR750 at the time and had one. Just looked like a beast although today would be a pussycat compared to 21st Century kit.

Busas but not in every colour scheme were stunning and loved the blue and silver or the tricked up paint jobs, especially out of the West Coast.

And the Kawasaki nuclear powered track bike looks great. It's another game changer and that looks just fine to me.

Yep, thought about the R1, definitely a Japanese game changer, still think the first ones were best.

+1 to the Ducati 916. One of the few bikes out there that could talk the talk and also walk the walk. It would have been enough if it just looked good, but Ducati had to go and throw in then-world beating performance into the bargain...hey show bike builders, you listenin'? Laughing

This has to be one of mine - The Triumph X75 Hurricane.

If Triumph had built it in large enough numbers rather than poo pooing the idea, who knows -

it's a close one, but I think it could be this:

https://raresportbikesforsale.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/VJ22_9-600x398.jpg

which just edges it over this:

https://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee245/richie48photo/DSC01825.jpg

I also have a soft spot for this:

https://www.peterverdone.com/archive/images/content/motorcycle/CBR600RR/CBR600RR_large_01.jpg

and this:

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/c/cd/Suzuki_GSXR_750_SRAD_1999.jpg/1920px-Suzuki_GSXR_750_SRAD_1999.jpg

Jeez. I've just put two Hondas and two Suzukis. I should probably go and have a word with myself right now.

There is only one right answer.

And to who put the W650, no, T120 fair enough, slightly valid answer. W650? Just no, it's like saying you think Kravitz is better than Hendrix.
