Hi guys and ladies .

Thrashed my bike last week.... It was just silly, there was grit on the roundabout and it just went from under me. Luckily I survived with road rash on forearm as I tried to get up and went onto a multiple roll due to the momentum....

Bike is a bandit 600 sk1 (faired) 2001

Anyways just took some pics of it, I don't know if I should cry. Right side cover damaged . Most oil leaked out and also some part was broken inside the cover as in the pic. Apart from this, exhaust dented, not major I guess?? Right side front fairing is completely gone. Mountain bracket is bent but intact . The fairing around the instruments is gone. Back is scracted and I can live with it .

Now I have a slight problem. I need to find the right fairing and right coulor or get one and paint it.... Or I can turn it into a street fighter look and remove the whole fairing business. There is some electrical issue with it, sometimes no light comes on when turning the key bit after some shaking it comes on.

Can you guys advise on the best way about it. Where to get parts and costs and alternatives . Like get a new fairing set or what ....

Would very much appreciate it .

Have a look on eBay - quite a few breakers on there. Also, check local breakers on Google.

If any of it might be repairable, search locally for companies that specialise in car bumper repair - most of them do motorcycle panel repairs too.

eBay, used parts or Chinese fairing kit. I'd be getting the engine sorted 1st though then the cosmetic stuff.
