Well I'm sitting here marginally bored so I thought I'd see if anyone has had the misfortune to have broken more bones than me?

So how many, if any bones have you broken?

Currently I have broken 9 individual bones -

2 toes
Pelvis
3 ribs
Wrist
Thumb
Collar bone

Someone must be able to beat that. Question

Nope, can't beat that. I have broken my radius and Ulna (but in five places at once).

I have had my nose broken by a cow, but that doesn't count as it is not really a bone.

'Cause I am a delicate little flower. And notoriously accident-prone. (And those were over a number of years!)

Unfortunately half the time these were comedy accidents which mean that I don't get much sympathy (one day I'll tell you about the time the cat stabbed me, or the bizarre corned beef tine and cat food incident...)

It did it on purpose, threw its head up when I was stood in front of it in a cattle crush. KOed me! It took offence at me chopping its horns off with a big set of loppers (with anaesthetic I hasten to add).

I've tried many a time, but never broken one. In fact there's no one in my family that I can think of that has ever broken a bone. That includes uncles, aunties, cousins, grandparents, etc. I guess we have freakishly strong bones or something.

1 nose (losing a fight)
2 ribs (falling off a mountain bike)
1 finger (falling out of a tree)
1 ankle (falling off a motor bike)

The nose didn't heal properly, so is now a bit off. The ribs healed up but hurt like a bastard until they did. The finger healed up perfectly, and the ankle so far has healed up ok though I've lost some movement in it.
