It's at 9:07 or something, any last minute tips?

If it all goes well, I'll be able to carry all my bike stuff around in a 1997 Micra. One litre POWAH!!!

Wish me luck! Thumbs Up

Don't crash. Thumbs Up

Seriously though, don't stress.

I was nervous for mine until I sat in the car. The examiner will be a human being, and I felt at ease straight away.

They are not looking for the best driver in the world, just that you can deal with things competently. As you have ridden a bike, this should be no problem at all..

Lots of mirror checks when appropriate, don't forget the old sling over the shoulder for reversing, be confident, jobs a good'un. Thumbs Up

Same as bike test. He's a sat nav. Usually a smelly fat one.

In fact. Imagines he's a pig covered in mud eating a carrot wearing a balaclava. Should help.

Best of luck. Updates by 10.

Just go for a nice safe drive. Don't rush anything. If you make a mistake then forget about it and carry on with test.

First time I went for my driving test the examiner asked me what I preferred to be called.... when I said I didn't mind, he said he hated when people answered with that. He seemed a bit shitty after that, and I managed to fail somehow Rolling Eyes

Might be difficult when he's sat next to you in the car.

Nailed it, I told him I needed it for work, before I even read MC's advice, I was talking to him about stuff.

I got 6 minors, 5 for passing parked cars too close, but three in one section two in another. I explained I ride bikes primarily, he said it explains why I think I can fit through such small gaps then. Laughing

Tut Tut

Too many turbos.

Single turbo, 500hp, do it right. So fast, so furious.

Don't worry, my first car was shitter then that. A 13 year old (in 2002) Vauxhall Nova 1.4 SR in red. Wheel arches were rusted through, chairs didn't slide forward or back, no power steering, door locks held on with duct tape. One day I wound the window down and it fell through the rust on the bottom of door and onto the pavement. Still, I bloody loved that car.

Cool as fuck... well done Thumbs Up

Must be a bit weird going from bikes to cars, bet it feels like you're driving a massive room on wheels.

I had a white Nova 1.2i - wasn't posh enough for an SR. I put some split-rim black and chrome alloys from my brother's Honda CRX on mine, two Pioneer 6X9 speakers in the rear shelf and a cool as fuck Pioneer tape deck with built in equalizer. Was slightly annoyed when it got nicked from the college car park, had to ring me mum for a lift home...

K349 TBC, may you rest in pieces.
