I've got another question. I drained the gearbox oil out the aprilia rs 125 2002 model and went to see what it takes everywhere I've read is different ive seen people say 10w 40 oil or light gear oil 75 80 then the recent one I seen someone say in the manual it says 75w90 I was going to get that until I found a rotax manual and it says motoroil sae 30 im really confused here,

I've got a bottle of silkolene light gear oil 75w80 here but have no idea whats right after reading everywhere there's no solid answer.

Thanks

hi,
rotax/aprilia say 75/90 but all i have ever used is good LITE Gear Oil by Rockoil (iirc its semi synthetic + 75/80) or Silkolene.
its the most popular choice for most rs owners, cos its good.

cheers,
GAZ
