Hopefully not as that is too nicer bike to end up shiny side down!

I'm guessing there are going to be arguments in your house then as to who gets the bike and who gets the car!

starting off small goes a long way in my book. Gain your experience on the smaller bikes, its a good way to learn about the roads.

I personally think a compulsory year or two on a moped or small bike wouldnt be a bad idea for those who apply for their provisional licence whatever they intend to ride/drive. Just think if all highway road workers would do their level best to make sure the road they've just dug up, has a lovely surface, and is flat...

And those that decided where to put drains wouldnt put them on roundabouts where they would have 'experienced' what it was like to ride over them!!!???

think about the consequences...smooth roads, people checking their mirrors more often, no diesel spills, more thought out on the roads...
hmm perhaps I should've started a discussion on this.

sorry I hijacked your post slightly....but good on yer for passing your CBT anyway Thumbs Up

You cant force people to ride a moped if they want a car! I would say that the best way would be to get rid of the das, you have to go the 125 route, that would work and is still optional.

well done Thumbs Up

One of my friends fell off on his CBT (this Saturday) and broke his collar bone Sad I think they have made it a lot harder to pass...... when I did mine a few years ago they let anyone get the certificate, but apparently only 4 of the 10 people were allowed out on the road in the afternoon ?

Cheers guys.

Sorry to hear about your Pal Benny! Thumbs Down

Hustler - not for at least six months! Want to get a feel of the road and how to drive (not as a car driver)!
