Has anyone dealt with the above, they have a couple of very nice looking early r6's on e-bay at the moment, going for what seems to be a bargain price.

Their website looks pretty professional but ive always been of the opinion "if it sounds too good to be true"

They seem to be a car dealer more than a bike dealer but still a few bikes on their website:

Bikes:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2001-YAMAHA-YZF-R6-/161576512331?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item259eb5eb4b

I have also messaged them to ask about MOT and when the last service was done. Any other questions you would ask?

The only other issue i have is that i live a fair distance away so might not be able to view and would have to get the bike delivered.

Would you be tempted? or is it too big a gamble?

I'd ask if they have any later models in that didn't like to munch their own liners.

But then again, its probably just me that won't buy one because of that reason Laughing

Does seem cheap.

Gearbox may be about to shit itself?

inb4 ask bodyguard to go and ride it as he is an expert R6 test rider.

Without being able to go and see it, and with such vague descriptions, yes I'd say it's too much of a gamble.. Thumbs Up

Reckon so. They don't even know what year it is.

It's a 14 or 15 year old bike. It does look clean, but it could run like a bag of spanners and need everything except the tyres replaced. I'd hesitate to take a punt on that sight unseen, and I'd expect the response to any question about warranty to be a cynical laugh followed by the click of a phone being put down.

If you want to me to look at it, I live less than a mile from there and pass it twice a day Laughing

Genuine company, and they do sell quite a few bikes, but mostly cars.

They are a decent company. The top salesman there is called Carl. If you are interested ask to speak to him, he is a biker and knows his stuff.

Cheers for the offer truslack, i might take you up on the offer.

Im still waiting to hear back about a few questions i have and im gonna ring them and have a chat to see how they seem over the phone.

They have a ridiculously cheap r1 on the site aswell which makes me think that they have input the price wrong on a few of their recent listings.

Ill keep you posted.

My heads screaming RUN AWAY, however my hearts saying it could be a potential bargain, i do love the early Yams.

I reckon they must of put them on incorrectly as they have mysteriously all ended at around the same time.

Knew it was too good to be true.

Thanks for all your help guys.
