Hi all,

My pass light switch on my 2014 ER6F isnt working... I can manually switch high beam on/off using the switch but the pass (flash) trigger seems to be completely dead. No the end of the world as I rarely use it but would be nice to have it working.

Anybody experienced this before? - Loose connection or something?

Thanks!

Isn't it under warranty on a 2014?

Or is it a bit of a pain to get it back to the dealer?

J4mes - It is indeed but its a bit of a trek and I like to have a tinker myself.

[UPDATE - FIXED]

There are two screws at the back which are easily removed and the unit comes apart.

On the rear where the pass trigger is located, there is a small screw holding it in place. I removed this and took a look at the rear of the trigger.

There was a small amount of dust and general grime between the spring so gave it a small clean with WD40 along with the connection and tested it. Works perfectly every time now.

Is yours playing up? Or just a precaution?

No I never use it either but that also means I don't know if it works or not. Everything else is fine but I
genuinely haven't used that function since checking the bike over when I bought it last year.

I mainly use it to give way to busses (because I'm nice like that,) but noticed that people had started ignoring my flashes. I thought how rude but realised this morning that it was simply not working Embarassed
