Looking for some cheap headsets to use in an environment where there's a fair bit of background noise.

Current ones used presumably have fairly omni-directional; the recipient can hear conversations in the background quite clearly.

Finding it hard to find decent reviews/comparisons - does anyone have experience in this area?

Something like this, maybe:

As cheap as possible - not looking to be spending £100 a set.

Ideally; RJ11, JPL-compatible QD or USB.
Anything else would need an adapter.
