Kawasaki Z250 Help needed.

So ive recently bought a Kawasaki Z250, and i took off the part that is behind the generator cover(behind i mean to the right if your looking at the bike from the side) and its the bit that covers the gear lever and sort of the clutch and the front sprocket. Anyways.. i was moving the bike in my garage and the little bit that the clutch lever is attatched to at the end ( not the handle bars end the other end) came out its like a 2p sized thing. I put it back in , it sort of slots in and pressed the clutch lever and it seems to be really light and it all moves yet i dont think the clutch is engaging. Did i put it in wrong or..? is there anything i can do.. I will take a picture of it tomorrow. Any help would be great. Bike starts and idles just doesnt engage clutch though everything is there im 99% sure, it all moves and that. Thanks , Barney
