Anyone used them? I can't find much at all about them from real people except they came on some S1000RRs as the OE tyre and a whole lot of the 120/70-17 tyres were recalled for tread falling off or sudden deflation (!). The few reviews I can find range from "grippy but lasted 1500 miles" to "grippy and lasted up to 7K miles" and anywhere in between.
I've been offered a second chance offer for some on ebay for £130 for a pair but if they wear out that quickly it's false economy over some PR3s or other hard wearing modern tyres. They're only for the TRX850 which is perfectly manageable on normal road tyres anyway..
In before people tell me they like the tyres they're using which aren't SportAttack 2s ____________________ 1994 CB250, 1984 CBX250RS-E, 1989 K100RS, 1995 TRX850, 2016 Z250SL |

I would be super cautious over the whole recall business. Check they are not affected by it or have been replaced.
You should get decent miles from them. The TRX isnt hard on tyres, it lacks the power to do any real damage.
I used to get 4k out of a set of part worn Supercorsa's on my old one with alot of hard riding. ____________________ Suzuki GT250 x7------- Fazer 600------CB250RS------Aprilia Rally 70----- Bandit 600

Like I say they're being offered to me at £130, a new pair from mytyres.co.uk is £187.50 and a pair of older 2011 tyres seems to be around £170. Strange that there is still 2011 stock around, perhaps Continental priced themselves out of the market. For comparison I can get a pair of Michelin PR4s from Oponeo for £186..
Oh and since I forgot to say before, the date codes are February 2012 for the front and November 2011 for the rear. It looks increasingly like a poor deal despite the apparent discount, and if no one has worn a set out I'd rather spend the extra on some tyres that will last forever like those Michelins, it's cheaper overall ____________________ 1994 CB250, 1984 CBX250RS-E, 1989 K100RS, 1995 TRX850, 2016 Z250SL |
