I have just been looking through my bike policy document, since I had to make a change to it and I got a new copy by e-mail. I noticed firstly that there is no specific exclusion of the Nürburgring Nordschleife (as there is in my new car policy) but there is also the following endorsement:

My bike is a '97 model - 2 more years and I can be covered on the track days I don't do. Very Happy

Interesting stuff - not that I'd much fancy the mudslinging contest with them if you had a prang whilst on a track day, a vintage meet might be one thing but where is the line drawn between racing and 'learning'?

What's the excess?
The excess is 50% of your motorcycle value or £1000 minimum.
