First post about my first bike (excluding my XL125)

I bought a DL650 on 64 plate this week. It comes with the small 39 litre suzuki luggage. Are the brackets the same for the bigger Aluminium boxes or is a different bracket needed?

The dealer was not sure? assistance appreciated

Nice choice of bike. I know my Honda luggage is similar to a lot of the Givi stuff, but often it is only by bringing the two together and actually looking at it next to each other can you judge.

Cheers Skudd, I suppose its an excuse to go out for a ride and find some of this mythical luggage. trouble is I ve never seen it, clearly nor has the dealer.

Would be nice to know so I can keep an eye out for a good deal on an online auction site or forum. It is bloody expensive!

Good excuses are brilliant when it comes to "Just looking" while in the shops. See who stocks it then go for a ride. There will be a bike shop with a bike in it with just the luggage you want. Be nice and they may let you measure it up from the bike. Or even as I have in the past put my luggage on some else's bike just to measure at a bike meet. Just need to courage to ask one of these big hairy biker types. Most don't bite, some just gum you for a bit.
