Hi, I've a Meta M357TV2 alarm/immobiliser system on my 2008 Kawasaki 650R. The bike was left without a battery for around two months and now I am unable to get a response from the bike or the alarm, the usual bleeping LED is no more. The battery is fully charged and the alarm is less than three years old, I'd like to think that it's something that I've overlooked trying to wake the alarm as a-posed to a faulty system.

Anyone have any ideas?

Exiting sleep mode
-To exit sleep mode, turn the ignition on.
-Disarm using remote.
-If the alarm entered sleep mode from a fully armed state, it gives a 5 second pre-alarm beep signal to allow disarming before sounding. -If, after the 5second period, the system is not disarmed with the remote, the siren will sound.

Have you tried that?

Tried many times, I still have the instructions that came with the alarm, basic troubleshooting, none of it is working though. I did consider that the alarms own battery could be dead after being without the bikes battery, though if don't know enough about the systems :/

I've gained access to the alarm connection within the unit, so a replacement shouldn't be difficult to fit, just need to decide wether it's necessary or not

I had a similar alarm that was about 2 years old when I removed it from a car I was selling, and kept it in the garage for another 2 years.

When I tried to fit it to another car, I found that the internal battery had leaked, destroying part of the printed-circuit board.

You should be able to remove the alarm unit and short some connections in the plug to by-pass it - https://abacuscaralarms.co.uk/alarmshop/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=317
