Hello BCF

Cleaned Carbs Out and re-assembled. Then I balanced all the cylinders to carb 2 like it says in the book.

Problem is after revving the Idle drops down to 1000rpm then slowly climbs back to 1400rpm, it remains stable at 1400. Other issue is when getting to about 7000-11000 rpm it normally goes very flat but this is where the most power should be. The power suddenly comes back once you get past where the normal power band should have been!

Any Ideas? I'm new to carb's but I suspect two areas here:

A) The Floats are set incorrectly.
B) The mixture is out and I'm not sure how I can get a screw driver to the mixture screws whilst it is running, they are very hard to get to!

These bikes are very picky on spark plugs and is the airbox standard and air filter clean?

a) Factory air filter?
b) Factory exhaust system?
c) Factory jets in the carbs?

If you can't answer yes to a, b and c at the same time, I suspect someone got open exhaust, then thought a ''racing'' air filter would be cool, and never touched the jets.
