is it possible to send texts and without you knowing the same texts get sent to another phone, ( if someone is spying on you) ?

how do you know your phones been tampered with?
can it be made more secure?

when texts and photos get deleted can they be recovered?
or is there a way of making sure they are gone for good?

Any clues as to what phone you're talking about?

A wind proof lighter with a blue flame will make short work of any memory cards you need to erase in a hurry. But the only way to make sure than any incriminating pictures or text messages or anything else is gone from your phone is to not put them on there in the first place.

There's lots of different things you could do to make your phone more secure, What would be appropriate depends on what you're needing to keep secure.

1, Yes (more than likely), not sure why or how it would get onto your phone unless somebody put it there though, GCHQ maybe

2, Depends on how well the software has been hidden or how good the person looking for it is.

3, Depends on how they have been deleted, if they have just been deleted off the memory card using the phones normal delete function then its almost trivial to recover them.

if they have been deleted and the card overwritten several times then it's more difficult to recover stuff, there are utilities you can get that securely erase files etc.

Do not put it there in the first place. If you want to ignore that and put such stuff on there anyway, do not leave your phone lying around.

If you want to make it more secure then you can start by using a pin screen lock and you can go right the way up to using a disposable burner phone compete with encrytion that you use a diceware passphrase for.

You could get a really old basic nokia handset where you don't ever have to worry about viruses or things like that. But even then, if you're going to leave your phone lying around then anyone can pick it up and read it.

If you want to securely erase things from your phone then go and get yourself CCleaner from the app store. There's more which can be done but I'm guessing it's not really going to be appropriate.

There's lot that you can do if it's really necessary but by far the simplest thing to do is not to put sensitive information on your phone in the first place and never to leave your phone lying around. It really is that easy!
