i've got a 2001 r6 (with black rims) with some pitting on the wheels. i'm to cheap to get them powder coated. was considering one of those touch up pens. anyone have any experiences with them? they any good?

Get the rims clean and any black touch up stick should do fine.

If you are feeling really cheap a black permanent marker Thumbs Up

If they are pitted you're not going to get a finish, so my choice would be sandpaper the crud off and arsole spray black.

They're OK for little chips and the like.
I got one for dings on the edge of a pickup door and it's black, looked OK on a little mark from a tankbag or something too.

I chipped my tank and used a random white touch up pen from halfords and it seems to have worked. Just don't do what I did and get even the slightest bit of dirt. Don't sand anything down until everything's dried.

Should be fine, won't ever be 100% again.
