Hi all,

About to embark on an 8hr train ride to Scotchland.

Want to take my tablet with me, so looking to rip a few DVDs to a decent ish quality for a 8" HD screen.

Any recommendations on what software to use? Preferably free and not annoying URL/AD in the corner.

Cheers!

*EDIT*

Yeah, DVD! Sorry!

Oh, DVD. I thought this was going to be a weird post about converting the security numbers on the back of credit and debit cards.

Depending on your connection it is probably easier to torrent whatever film you want to watch.

DVDfab or DVDdecryptor one of them so it's out files for most devices.

On a more helpful note, I always found Handbrake to be rather good.

Now now, there are allegedly some people that may find that offensive Razz

On topic, I used magic DVD ripper for a while and had decent results with it (it has been a while since I started just downloading the films instead.... then moved on to XBMC... so I can't remember if it actually converted them too)
