Hiya, Ive gone and melted my rain cover onto my nice shiny downpipes - gotta now clean that off but now I'll need an anti-melting new rain cover that I can put straight on a hot bike.

Can anyone recommend an anti melt one?

thanks guys and gals

I got one like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/XXL-Motorcycle-Waterproof-Outdoor-Motorbike-Rain-Vented-Bike-Cover-Silver-Blue-/131425814654?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1e9996c87e

It was £8 on ebay and I've not had any problems with it melting like I did with the last one i got, which was about £4

Big article reviewing lots of various priced covers in this month's RIDE magazine.

Including testing them against a hot iron.

thought a downpipe was about 600 degrees after a ride so needs more heatproofness

why cant you wait for the bike to cool a little while before putting a cover on Question
