Thanks to the wonder that is the BBC coverage of WSB (ie. let's show the golf) I didn't manage to see any of it at all. Not happy about this as I prefer watching WSB to motoGP!

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a site for more in-depth news - the worldsbk.com site has only basic news it seems, and I can't find much else.
Lots of race summaries and that's it - what about the guy who crashed to stop race 2? What happened to him?

note to self: when setting the video to tape bike racing on BBC leave tape running for at least 4hrs just in case the race runs a wee bit over and they opt to show something else instead Evil or Very Mad

It was funny to watch on euro sport. In the second race toselands bike start smoking because it was leaking oil, someone crashed out just after causing the race to get red flagged so toseland was able to join the race again on a new bike when it was re-started, only to have one of the foggy petronas boys knock into him on a right hander taking them both out. Laughing

There was a nasty crash in the race in the middle of the WSB, think it was in the Supersports Six or something like that, that ended up leaving the guy with both his upper legs broken after being run over after crashing Sick

It was Fabien Foret + the last I heard it was femur in one leg and ankle in the other. Still flipping painful, but not as bad as first thought!

I think he got run over by a kawasaki as well. I was sitting just up the hill from him. It was lucky he waved, otherwise I'm sure he'dve been hit again.

thanks for the info, I'll check out the website.

Up until this year all I've watched is F1, and they're really good on updates when someone gets injured. I don't know if it's because people come flying off bikes more than they do cars, but it's really difficult to find news!

As for the BBC and the golf... Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Yet another reason I wish I had digital/satellite...

Superbikes is clearly more important than Golf they should have gone back to the golf for a bit then shown the bikes live and they would have got back for the end of the golf, instead superbikes was tagged on the end as an after thought. It was the same last week with the MotoGp as soon as the race finished they were off to the horse racing. /moan over Evil or Very Mad

Back to the racing, I thought Toseland was very very unlucky to get a second chance only for Corser to take him out. As for Chili to walk away from that highside in the first race, he is a lucky man!
