Looks to be under the tank, which leads me to believe there is no reserve setting, because that's what fuel gauges are for.

Two miles from home my bike coghed and begun to splutter I knew it was low on fuel I just wanted to see the fuel light come on to see if it was any more accurate than the fuel gauge which it isn't because it failed to come on.

Now I'm home the nearest petrol station is a four mile walk there and back unless there is a fuel tap hidden somewhere?

Money is no object I get one Friday afternoon off and Sunday each week I need the Haynes right now so I can get started.

Also FYI the spanner I have been looking at is part of the Halfords professional range.

Halfords sell bike Haynes have a look or local motor factors that use fps can get in an hour

Have Halfords stopped selling the Mong range then?

27mm socket is what you need. Maybe a 24mm (I think) on t'other side to brace it. Mine has a habit of just spinning rear axle. Then the chain adjustment bolts are 12mm (if I recall correctly).

Should be about 3-4cm slack on chain. Amount it slightly different between old Square eye and Fox eye Fazers.

Definitely no reserve. I have had about 20 mile further after fuel light coming on on mine. But I have a 2003 Foxeye with a bigger tank...
