…Capital City Motorcycles Edgeware? I came across them on ebay and they seem to have a few bikes that I'd be interested in. I'm just wondering if anyone here has had any experience with them?

Companies House does confirm that Capital City motorcycles started on 17/01/2014

Suspiciously cheap prices?

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is, especially from a dealer.

Still, probably no more crooked than the next dealer, just buy the bike, not a story about the bike.

I used to think it was better to buy from dealers because they have more knowledge, usually an in-house mechanic and can get bikes into reliable good nick before selling.

Now I know they're usually scum.

I think I'll only ever go to a dealer who has reputation with known bikers. If I can't find any info, then I'll just write them off as slimy sales types, even if they aren't. I'll do it privately instead.

I'm now of the opinion that individual sellers are more trustworthy because they only have one machine to sell, so they're gonna try harder to get it right for the buyer. I could be wrong there as well though.

They are pretty good.
