myself and my other half met up with some of the BW lot at the Badger bash up near Scarborough this weekend. As we weren`t entirely sure if we would make it we didnt prebook tickets (£10) but got them on the gate (£15). For this we got 2 bands on Friday, same again on Saturday, plus a rock disco whenever the bands were off. The bar ran till 1 AM, £2 /pint. Nice roads all round and a gathering of likeminded folk. Given that not many of the BCF mob seem to be into the rally scene I thought I would post a few pics to give a bit of an idea what happens. I didnt get as many pics as I should have as I was busy partying Very Happy

Cool piccies Big Pete!

I soooo want to go to a rally this year, but the Invasion of the Islands is sold out and not sure whether to risk going without ticket and try to get in on the gate Confused

I know there's the Saints and Sinners 10th - 12th September, that's my birthday weekend, but we can't go to that one 'cause it's my other halves wee boys birthday on the same day as mine!

And then I know of Mutineers MCC Scotland 4th Rat Arsed Rally : Central Scotland the first weekend in October, but would have liked to have gone to one in the summer! Sad

I think we might turn up at Bute and see if we can get into the Island Invasion one though!! Wink

From what I heard about last year, FA, there were a lot of people tried the same tactic last year. Far too many people in fact and I believe that because of the problems that caused there will be absolutely no gate tickets.

I would check out the other rallies listed in the events sections of Bikers1 and Bikersweb.
