my ride is Royal Enfield Classic 500 EFi, I have an old Royal Efield 535 Iron block too, i love touring and take people around Indian madness on Royal Enfields.

How does the EFI cope with extreme altitude? Say if you were going up over the Himalayas.

I know they have to swap the carbs over on the older bullets once they reach a point they won't pull any more and I've heard stories of BMW adventure bikes simply conking out and refusing to go any further until the atmospheric pressure increases.

The EFI does really well, i remember having problems with the older bullets but no issues with the new EFI ones, have been using them for the last 3 years and they work really well.
You do feel some lack in power but nothing significant.
