Although ive only been riding for just over a year i bought a helmet almost 10 years ago and think it may just be a bit too old. (spent 8 years in the loft)
My original AGV Demon top is nice and comfy so i was thinking of buying this flip up style AGV. I wear glasses and think a flip up will be easier for me:

AGV Compact Audux Matt Black Flip Front Motorcycle Helmet

The AGV Compact Flip Front Motorcycle Helmet has replaced the AGV Numo from the previous collection. The Compact is a small shelled Flip UP helmet which is designed to look like a full face helmet when worn. The Compact sports an aggressive look, just the same as many of the full face helmets in the range with the low chin bar giving it a great aesthetic shape. The AGV Compact is also one of very few helmets available with a Dual Homologation, which means you can ride with this helmet legally in both the closed face and open faced position.

Sizes on the AGV Compact are as follows:

XS 53-54cm | S 55-56cm | M 57-58cm | L 59-60cm | XL 61cm-62cm

Main Features

HIR-TH ( High Resistance Thermoplastic Resin ) Shell
Integrated Sun Visor
3 Front Air Intakes
1 Rear Extractor Built Into Neck Roll
2 Side Extractors
Meets ECE R2205 Approval
ACU Gold Approved
XQRS ( Extra Quick Release System ) Visor
Micro Metric Retention Strap
2 Year Warranty With Warranty Extension Available
Fully Removable And Washable Dry Comfort Interior
Removable Breath Deflector
Removable Large Windproof Chin Strap Protection
Comes Ready For Use With SHARE Communication System ( Sold Separately )
Reflective Inserts On Neck Roll For Better Visibility At Night Under Conditions Of Poor Light
Anti Theft Ring On Strap

I had an AGV Longway flip. Heavy, noisy, creaky thing. Flip lids are generally going to be heavier than a normal one, are you sure you need one?

Weird design. Why even have a flip if you've got a face guard under it as well?

There's no law in the UK that makes it an offence to ride with any helmet flipped up. It's either BSI/ECE-2205 marked, or it's not, and that's all that matters.

Since this marketing claim gets made so often, I have asked a copper chum if she wouldn't mind reporting me to the Fiscal for it, but she's very reluctant to touch my helmet. Sad

If i was to have these disadvantages i definitely wouldn't have a flip up helmet.

I suppose the obvious choice would be the AGV K5, but i must admit i only know my head is an AGV large head so should probably get myself to a shop. Seeing as i live 5 minutes away from moto central i should drop in. £200 is my budget really as im saving up for an exhaust too.

I've got an AGV and a Caberg.

The AGV is noticeably noisier, heavier and the visor rattles a bit on cross winds in open spaces. It is not BAD but i excpected better. It was also £60 cheaper than the Caberg and it does do the job, good for a short summer or town ride.
My caberg fits like a dream tho, when it has to go I will possibly buy the same one.

Go try two dozens on.

It may be true in Greater Germany, but I suspect it's largely like saying that your brand of Wheat-O-Briks has been certified to be 100% free of Ebola laden tramp semen.

I have one of these helmets as I stop for smoke breaks a lot. Very handy.

Pretty good helmet, looks good (mine is white black and red one), easy to change visor, drop down shades are good. It is a wee bit heavy and but it is comfy and very handy.

Good value compact helmet and it's safety certified for open and closed use unlike some others. I always have it closed when riding mind.

Comes with pinlock pre-fitted

Doesn't have a gold sticker for track use.

I would buy another.

Drunk!

Helmet does not create a good seal when used as a punch bowl.

I don't have that helmet but I have the HJC RPHA-Max which is a flip helmet. Tested as both a full face and an open helmet.

It doesn't do well in the tests, but that's nothing to do with it being a flip (side impact tests)

Weighs about 1.4kg so it as light or lighter than most full face lids.

I have one of these and find it very noisy and heavy compared to my AGV T2 and Arai helmets. It's not particularly good for glasses either. I bought it for the flip front and sun visor which are very handy but a bit disappointed overall.
