When I found the naming of Yamaha FJ-09 on the net, I was wondering if Yamaha would launch smaller FJR with that triple engine.
When I found it was US version of MT-09 Tracer, I was disappointed.

Cause I still like the idea of small tourer

I no longer owns TDM, but TDM looks more tourer than than Tracer.
Tracer doesn't look like tourer. Don't you think it attractive if Yamaha makes smaller version of FJR with that triple engine?
Also like smaller verison of Triumph ST1050.

I don't like Tracer's narrow screen. TDM had better fairing and screen.

For me, it looks like decent tourer like FJR1300, GTR1400 are too heavy and huge for everyday use, agile left and right turn in town. There should be a demand for "smaller tourer" not only me.
Don't you think so?
Small tourer, but a little bit larger/powerful than Deauville650/700.

If VFR800X had more decent fairing, it should be one of such bike, but that V4 makes the bike heavy, I hesitate to call it small/handy.

At the moment I'm out of budget, but I want such bike(FJR900) in the future.

Spot on Chris Thumbs Up The Diversion 900 is, in fact, just like a smaller FJR. I've had both and much preferred the Divvy.

Got to be shaft drive for mile munching therefore only the Divvy 900 really passes out of those IMO.
