Gah, not posted here in a while. Been out and about doing this and that. Was trying to get my full license done but some tards just don't know when to quit taking my damn money!

Anyway all those ideas have gone out the window now. I binned the DNA about 3 weeks back. Some lovely chap, very nice he was, pulled out from my left and I hit him at about 60.

On the approach i was zipping round a smooth left hander that goes down a lil bit and then throws up a sweeping right upto a crest. The junction on my side has a highish hedge leading upto it and is on the bottom of the right cuve. He appeared to stop at the line and I then glanced up to see up ahead again. But before I knew it, I was stuck in the side of his brand new X-Type Jag. Private reg too.

I brought a whole new meaning to the phrase tank slapper becasue my bollocks hit the fake tank cover so hard it almost ripped off and the front wheel went right through the radiator and upto the petrol tank. They had to pull it back out to move it!

Here's the wreakage...

More Pics

I won't proably hang around here anymore due to having no bike or cash. Im back at uni on the 22nd and have a cheap car to do the 50 mile round trip in so a bike's not really practical again. I might see if I can level the bank balance and get me my licesne and something for the weekend, I love riding, even if it was a shitty DNA 125. Beats cars any day.

Thanks for the hospitality and you're all a great bunch. Take care in the future and keep it marginally safe!
All the best, Dan.

All the best m8 - and good luck at getting back on two wheels..... you could probably do that in a car but you might get told of from plod - and don't practice in your own car Laughing Thumbs Up

Shit thats some nasty looking pics, were you badly hurt?

I hope you done some serious damage to that twat's car though, idiots like that shouldn't be on the road, then again neither should a lot of people,I'm on the road all day and the things you see some people do is unbelievable, how some people are still alive amazes me.I'll never know why there isn't a lot more accidents on the roads.

That jag was hardly hurt. He just didn't see me at all. But the road is one of those that goes nowhere. there is no reason to turn right from it, becasue if you head straight on from where you turn into it at the other end, you get to the same road he was heading for. No idea what he was doing, apart from being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I wasn't hurt. I got a free ride in an ambulance just to find out my bollocks looked like Linford Christie and I have a nice urine sample. Im writing a complaint about the quality of nurses too, very disappointing.

I refused to let go of the bike when I hit, so I came off on my feet, rather damn sore and I have plenty of cuts nobody else seemed to notice but they will scar.

hopefully you'll screw loads a money out of this rich fool and be back with an....R6. dont forget to log a personal injury in with the claim for the bike. you can claim for any cuts and especially the damage to your manhood

You can and obviously should claim on his insurance, but that will take at least a year to be sorted if my brother's experience is anything to go on. Not much use if you're not flush, which students sure as hell aren't *grumble...*

Apparently, for the best return you have to claim the money for the bike and gear at the same time as the personal injury claim. (ie one big court case all at once.) Despite them being able to sort out the money for the bike quickly, if you've already won in court and been given money, you are guaranteed to get given a pittance if you go to court to get money again.

Good luck with the (assumed) case, though you'll probably be told a minimum of what's going on and be kept waiting for more than a year. Hope you get back on two wheels before too long. Thumbs Up

Best of luck with your insurance claim, and of course, university.

Maybe, when you have some more cash the time will come to return to bikes.

I'm very glad that you are mostly ok.... oh, and chicks dig scars Wink Thumbs Up
